Where to park near Santiago Cathedral?

There are several Saba parking options around the Cathedral:

 

  • Saba Plaza de Armas Parking: just steps from the Cathedral, open Monday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, with access from the Cathedral and Bandera streets. Maximum parking height is 2.10 m and online reservations are possible.
  • Saba Santa Lucía Parking: ideal for those arriving from the east of Santiago. Open all day, with entrance on Santa Lucía Street. Maximum parking height is 2.10 m.
  • Saba Plaza Mekis Parking: a convenient option for those arriving from the south or west. It operates 24 hours a day and offers per-minute rates or daytime and/or nighttime rates.

 

In all cases, it is recommended to arrive during less crowded times, especially on weekends or holidays, to make it easier to find parking.

 

How to get to the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas from the parking lot?

From any of the recommended parking lots, the walk is short and easy. The Plaza de Armas lot leaves you practically steps from the main entrance, while Santa Lucía and Plaza Mekis require a short walk through lively central streets.
