Our story
With nearly 60 years of experience, Saba is today an international benchmark in sustainable urban mobility solutions.
Saba was founded in 1966 with its first licence in Barcelona. During the 70s and 80s, it expanded to other cities and consolidated its industrial model, focused on customer service and collaboration with administrations. In the 90s, it began its internationalisation, gaining presence in countries such as Portugal, Italy, Andorra and Chile.
Since 2000, Saba has become a benchmark in innovation, sustainability and service excellence. In 2011, Saba Infraestructuras was born, a project that reaffirms its commitment to sustainable mobility. In 2018–2019, it doubles in size by incorporating assets from the United Kingdom, Germany, Slovakia and Czechia.
After the impact of the pandemic between 2020 and 2022, the Group has consolidated its recovery and, between 2023 and 2025, exceeds the results of 2019, reinforcing its reference position, with a focus on customers, technological innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth.
